He holds a bachelor's degree in housing and community development, a master's degree in educational administration, an advanced graduate degree in K-12 administration, and a doctorate of education in leadership with an emphasis in organizational change. He is the founder of T.A. Watson Speaking/Coaching/Consulting LLC and also the author of A Face of Courage: The Tommy Watson Story. He currently lives in North Carolina.
