The Movement For Education First, Country Second / Liberia Initiative For Less Fortunate Children\'s goals and objectives are to ensure that Liberian less fortunate children are provided both educational and social economic opportunities, by providing scholarships and school materials to less fortunate children and development of recreation and learning facilities for disadvantaged children.

Co-founded by Mr. Robert D.G. Garguah, Jr. and Mrs. Dekontee Doboyou-Howard on May 10, 2010, ME1C2/LILFOC FOUNDATION, INC is a 501(c)(3) registered, non-governmental, non-profit organization which goal is to address the many social and educational needs of less fortunate Liberian children.

Robert D.G. Garguah

Mr. Robert D.G. Garguah, Jr., originally from the Republic of Liberia, West Africa, is a 2010 honored graduate of the Atlanta Technical College, Atlanta, Georgia, with a degree in Culinary Arts, including: Culinary Nutrition Manager, Culinary Nutrition Assistant, and Assistant Food Service Purchasing Agent, respectively.



Mr. Garguah, Jr. had the honor of serving at a very young age as President of the Determine Young Men organization (D.Y.M.), whose goals were to develop the intellect of young boys into great men through advocating education and youth empowerment on the Buduburam Refugee Camp, Accra Ghana, West Africa, where thousands of Liberian refugees lived after fleeing the “uncivil” war in Liberia.



Upon his relocation to the United States, he worked and served as a Crew Trainer/Manager at the McDonald’s Restaurant, Atlanta Georgia, from 2004-2006. Since 2007-Present, Mr. Garguah, Jr. has worked at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Atlanta Airport South, one of the top brands under the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he has served in many departments. He first served as the Executive Steward in the Banquet Department and later joined the Restaurant’s Kitchen as a Line Prep Cook and a Garde Manager Chef, respectively. Because of his hard work and excellent work ethics, he got promoted to the Guest Services Department, where he now works as a Supervisor.



Mr. Garguah served as Vice President of the great Men’s Ministry of the International Christian Fellowship Ministries (ICF), Atlanta, Georgia, from 2009-2011, making him the youngest to have ever served the ICF Men’s Ministry in such capacity. He is the founder/CEO of Chef Robert’s Catering, LLC.
