Don\'t Box Me In: Rene Steelman

Rene is the mother of six children. Her sixth was born with Cerebral Palsy and severe disabilities. He is now 30. The journey of dealing with and coping with this life style change and life changing event inspired her to share her story in Heaven Sent & Bent – Becoming a Mother of Strength.

Rene’ Steelman is a professional speaker, radio show host, writer and the mother of six children. A veteran of the US Navy where she served as a photographer, her love of visual art led her to a quasi-career in interior design until the call of her true occupation, motherhood, demanded full attention. She and her husband live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and take advantage of all it has to offer, including a great airport where they can leave the rainy weather occasionally.
